The Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology-Alumni Association (NIET-AA) Coimbatore, established to strengthen the lifelong bond between the institution and its graduates, serves as a vibrant bridge connecting past, present, and future generations of NIETians. Since the inception of the college in 2006, after that our alumni have excelled in diverse fields across the globe—contributing significantly to industry, research, entrepreneurship, and society at large.
The NIET-AA aims to foster professional networking, promote knowledge sharing, and nurture a sense of belonging among its members. I am very much happy with my offer. The Placement Cell has really helped me throughout the placement process. They were very much supportive of the students and even provided us with very effective study materials to prepare us for the placements. Good placements and infrastructure. Most CSE students secure jobs in companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cignus, with average salaries around 3 LPA, and many get internships at Cignus and Altius Technologies. The campus offers Wi-Fi, multiple computer labs, classrooms, a large library, seminar halls, and a canteen (hostel food is average), with opportunities for sports and extracurricular activities. Faculty are helpful, especially during practical sessions, while theory teaching is average; staff also encourage participation in off-campus interviews and workshops.
