Smart India Hackathon 2023 is a nationwide initiative to provide students a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mind-set of problem solving.

We are thrilled and Happy to announce that our Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nehru Group of Institutions Students Team “NIET HACKTASTIC SIX” guided by the Mentor Prof. Madan Mohan emerged victorious at the Smart India Hackathon 2023… Won One Lakh Cash Prize for the Hardware Edition, held at Manipal Institute of Technology, Udupi, Karnataka.

This Team was led by Ms. Saranya G, III Year B.E. CSE jointly with Members, Ms. Anuja Ka K , Ms. Jishma Unnikrishnan, Ms. Busipalli Gayathri, Ms. Jeba Celina S, Mr. Tamil Bharath M Contributed Innovative Solutions and Won.

About 1282 Participants from all over India participated. We are proud to announce that this Team represented Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology on a National Level, National Stage and showcasing their Skills and Innovative Solutions.

We happily announce that our Management sanctioned entire expenditures for developing Prototype which was designed for demonstrating at the Smart India Hackathon 2023 (SIH-2023)

This accomplishment is a testament to the collective efforts of our students Team, Mentor Prof. Madan Mohan, Department Coordinator Prof. Vinu, Institute SPOC Dr. A. Raja, ECE, Dr. S. Subasree, Head, CSE and Faculty Team of CSE. We thank Each and Every Professors for their greatest supports extended.
